With Martina Cheung stepping in as CEO, S&P Global needed to reposition itself as a leader in technology, data and client centricity. The first major leadership event of her tenure was a critical moment - marking a strategic shift that would bring the S&P 200 together to align on strategy, strengthen connections and spark fresh ideas for driving performance.
With the goal of inspiring an enterprise mindset among leaders, we reimagined S&P’s Miami Leadership Summit into three key chapters; Inspire (strategy), Immerse (customer) and Ignite (leadership). This immersive journey was enabled by collaborative Co-Labs, workshops that tackled real client challenges and industry insights on AI and innovation. Designed for genuine engagement, emotional connection and practical planning, leaders left with actionable strategies to drive change through their teams.
The experience sparked real shifts among S&P leaders. Many felt more in sync on strategy (avg 4.67 out of 5), gained practical ideas to keep momentum, sharpened their competitive edge (4.50) and leadership skills, and got a deeper sense of what matters to customers. The networking was a real standout, helping employees to build stronger connections across the business (4.92).
